You can pick up everything you need at your local Stater Bros. to stock your fridge, freezer and pantry to prepare amazing vegan meals. Here are some tips for easy vegan shopping at Stater Bros.
If you’re vegan or vegetarian it might seem odd to head to the meat section, but trust us, there is a great vegan find there in Beyond Meats’ insanely popular Beyond Burger or Sausage.
The new stores have a refrigerated section dedicated to the vegan lifestyle located behind energy efficient doors in the produce department. Look for a green tag on the door that says “Vegan”. You can find vegan items merchandised throughout the store and on the deli wall. Some of my favorites include Follow Your Heart, Tofurky, and Califia Farms. There are even new additions to the refrigerated vegan selection including Kite Hill artisan almond milk yogurt, Reddi-Wip non-dairy coconut or almond milk whipped cream and Just Egg.
In the frozen sections, you’ll find staples such as Gardein’s plant-based meats, new Skillet meals and new vegan Morning Star items.
Stater Bros. has more additions in the frozen selection including Don Lee Farms Plant-Based Burgers, superfood Veggie Bowls, and Sausage Patties.
You can’t go wrong when you treat yourself to dessert with NadoMoo ice cream topped with non-dairy whipped cream.
There’s even Lenny & Larry’s complete cookies, selected varieties of Dave’s Killer organic bread and bagels, Full Circle organic pasta sauce, Enjoy Life chocolate chips and Yerbaé Sparkling Water.
And perhaps it’s obvious, but don’t forget about the great selection of fresh items in our produce department. From carrots to kale, apples to apricots, pineapples to peaches, you’ll be able to find fresh and flavorful, nutritious produce throughout the year.
