TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

EVENT NAME: Canelo Meet and Greet 

AGE RESTRICTIONS 

Use of this Site is restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years old. If you are under 21, your use of the Site must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. 

PARTICIPATION TERMS 

These terms and conditions apply to your use of the RSVP page located at www.staterbros.com/rsvp, as well as any other associated websites, platforms, or services where these terms are referenced or displayed (collectively referred to as the “Site”). When we say, “Stater Bros. Markets,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” we’re referring to Stater Bros. Markets and its related companies and affiliates.

The Site is intended to provide information and access to RSVP for special in-store events and is offered as a courtesy to our valued customers. By accessing or using the Site or participating in any related event (collectively, the “Event”), you agree to these terms and conditions (the “Agreement”).

Please read this Agreement carefully. By using the Site or signing up for an Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by its terms. Stater Bros. Markets may update or revise this Agreement at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon posting without prior notice.

IN-STORE EVENT 

All costs and expenses incurred in connection with participation in the In-Store Event are the sole responsibility of the participant. Stater Bros. Markets retains full discretion over all aspects of the In-Store Event, including its scheduling, format, and administration.

In the event that the In-Store Event is canceled or postponed due to inclement weather, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, labor disruptions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, the terms and conditions governing in-store events, as defined by Stater Bros. Markets, shall apply.

All participants are expected to adhere to applicable in-store policies and procedures while attending the In-Store Event. Stater Bros. Markets reserves the right to deny entry to, or remove, any individual who behaves in a manner that is unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or intended to threaten, harass, or abuse others at the event.

Stater Bros. Markets and affiliated parties (the “Released Parties”) shall not be held liable for any cancellations, delays, or other changes to the event due to weather, force majeure, or other events beyond their control.

CANCELLATION POLICY 

If you are unable to attend the Event, no formal cancellation is required. The event operates on a first-come, first-served basis during designated time slots, with priority given to those who RSVP. Participation is subject to availability and while supplies last.

USE OF SITE AND CONTENT 

This website and all content available on it are meant exclusively for your personal, non-commercial use. Except where explicitly stated otherwise, you may not copy, share, publish, distribute, display, alter, create derivative works from, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site or its contents in any way. 

By accessing or using this Site, you agree to do so only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You also confirm that you will not engage in any activity that violates the law or these terms. Specifically, you must not: 

• Post or transmit any material that is illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, invasive of privacy, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable. 

• Use the Site to share or promote false, misleading, or illegal information, or harass others. 

• Use any automated system, including bots, spiders, or scrapers, to access or search the Site, except through tools provided or approved by Stater Bros. Markets. 

• Collect, harvest, or store data from the Site, including product details, pricing, images, or content, outside of what is allowed under a limited license. 

• Impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or imply endorsement by Stater Bros. Markets without permission. 

• Upload or share material that infringes on intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or patents. 

• Distribute any content that contains viruses, malware, or any code designed to harm or limit functionality of software, hardware, or communication systems. 

• Attempt to breach the Site’s security in any way, including unauthorized access, probing for vulnerabilities, interfering with network operations, or mimicking Stater Bros. Markets or another user. 

• Alter or remove copyright notices, trademarks, or any other proprietary labels or information on the Site. 

• Seek passwords, personal information, or other sensitive data from other users. 

• Use the Site to promote, advertise, or offer products or services for commercial purposes. 

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Site’s functionality or code. 

• Engage in any other activity that Stater Bros. Markets, in its sole discretion, considers inappropriate or in violation of these terms. 

PRIVACY:  Any personal information collected by Stater Bros. Markets in connection with the event shall be used by Stater Bros. Markets for administration of the event as provided in our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, each of which can be found by visiting https://www.staterbros.com/terms-of-use/ and as stated at https://www.staterbros.com/privacy-policy/. 

USER SUBMITTED CONTENT 

By submitting any content to this site, you affirm that your contribution is accurate and complies with all applicable laws and regulations. You also agree that your content does not infringe on the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. Furthermore, your submission must not cause harm to any individual or organization, nor may it contain or link to offensive, harmful, or inappropriate material—including, but not limited to, sexually explicit, violent, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content; malicious software; political campaigns; solicitations; spam; or chain messages. 

You alone are responsible for any content you provide, and Stater Bros. Markets assumes no liability for such material. We reserve the right—but not the obligation—to review, monitor, edit, remove, or refuse to post any submitted content at our sole discretion. Additionally, we may disclose submitted content and the circumstances surrounding its transmission to third parties when deemed necessary. 

By submitting content, you grant Stater Bros. Markets a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, publish, translate, distribute, and create derivative works from your content in any format or media now known or developed in the future, without any compensation to you. Please do not share any confidential, proprietary, or creative materials (such as artwork, stories, software, or product ideas) that you do not wish to license to us. 

You also allow us to use the name you submit alongside your content, though we are under no obligation to do so. Please be aware that any personal information shared voluntarily in connection with user content is your responsibility, and we are not liable for how that information may be used or disclosed. 

You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary rights and permissions to grant us the above license, and you irrevocably waive any moral rights or similar rights of authorship or attribution to the extent permitted by law. 

This site may also include content posted by other users. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for user-submitted opinions, statements, or advice, which may be inaccurate or misleading. Reliance on such third-party content is at your own risk, and Stater Bros. Markets is not liable for any resulting damages or losses 

IN-STORE EVENT 

All costs and expenses associated with the “Event” is the sole responsibility of the Participant. All In-Store Eventdetails are at Stater Bros. Markets’ sole discretion. The terms and conditions of the in-store event will govern in the event, as defined by Stater Bros. Markets is not held due to weather, an Act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, work stoppage or any other reason.  Participant(s) agree to comply with all applicable in-store regulations in connection with the In-Store Event.  Stater Bros. Markets reserve the right to remove or deny entry to Participant(s) who engage(s) in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at any game, event or exhibition.  Released Parties (as defined below) will not be responsible for weather, Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other event that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any event. 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By participating in this Event, Participant(s) agree to be bound by these Agreement and the decisions of Stater Bros. Markets, which are final in all respects and not subject to appeal. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Agreement, any related Abbreviated Rules or other statements contained in any Event-related materials, including, but not limited to: any entry form, point-of-sale material, or television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Agreement shall govern. Stater Bros. Markets may amend or modify any time to clarify the rules or correct any errors or typos. All federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations apply. Stater Bros. Markets reserves the right to refuse participation permanently from this Event any Participant it believes has violated the Agreement. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE EVENT MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, STATER BROS. MARKETS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. STATER BROS. MARKETS’ FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS. 

RELEASE OF LIABILITY/INDEMNIFICATION: By participating in the Event, Participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Stater Bros. Markets, Promotional Entities, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims made by any entrant, prize winner, or any other third parties, related in any way to the operation of this Event as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity or participation in this Event. The Event is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, or TikTok. 

DISPUTES: This Event is governed by the laws of the State of California. Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees: (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the federal or state courts in California; (ii) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Event, excluding attorneys’ fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain an award for, and each entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. All claims or disputes related to or involving these Terms and Conditions and/or this Event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.
