Ingredients
- 3 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
- 3 cups Chocolate Chex™ cereal
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter- filled pretzels
- 1 cup salted roasted peanuts
- 1 cup holiday-colored M&M’S® candies
Directions
- In large serving bowl, mix all ingredients.
- Get creative with your favorite mix-ins, and swap out your favorite nut or holiday candy as you wish. A dash of holiday-colored sprinkles adds a little extra magic to this mix.
- For more chocolate flavor, use all Chocolate Chex cereal in this mix. Store in covered container at room temperature.
Ingredients
- 8 cups Rice or Corn Chex™ cereal
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons bourbon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup white vanilla baking chips
- 1 cup bite-size chocolate- covered caramels or milk chocolate-covered almonds
- 8 crème-filled tubular- shaped wafer cookies, each broken into fourths
Directions
- Line large rimmed baking pan with wax paper. In large microwaveable bowl, add cereal.
- In medium microwaveable bowl, add butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes, or until mixture is bubbly and sugar is starting to dissolve. Cool 2 minutes. Carefully stir in bourbon, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour over cereal; toss to evenly coat.
- Microwave cereal mixture on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until cereal is thoroughly glazed. Spread onto baking pan to cool.
- In small microwaveable bowl, add chips and microwave on High for 30 to 45 seconds, stirring after 30 seconds, until chips are starting to melt. If necessary, continue heating in 15-second increments, stirring after each until chips are melted and smooth. Transfer melted chips to small resealable food storage bag and cut small corner off one end of bag. Drizzle on top of cereal. Cool 30 minutes, or until drizzle is set.
- Carefully break up cereal; transfer to large serving bowl and stir in caramels or almonds and cookie pieces.

- 2 cups miniature pretzel
twists - 1/2 cup Planters® cocktail peanuts (from 16-oz
container) - 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
(from 10-oz bag) - 1 bag (12 oz) white vanilla baking chips
- 4 1/2 teaspoons holiday- colored nonpareils or sprinkles
- 1/2 cup holiday-colored M&M’S® chocolate candies
Directions
- Line large rimmed pan with paper towels.
- In medium microwavable bowl, mix Corn Chex™ cereal, 1 cup of the pretzels and the peanuts; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 40 to 50 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasoned salt and red pepper. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 4 minutes, stirring after every minute, until cereal is toasted. Spread in pan to cool.
- Line another large rimmed pan with waxed paper. In large bowl, mix Rice Chex™ cereal, marshmallows and remaining 1 cup pretzels.
- In medium microwavable bowl, microwave white vanilla baking chips uncovered on High 45 seconds; stir. If needed, microwave in additional 15- second increments, stirring vigorously after each, until melted and smooth. Pour onto Rice Chex™ cereal mixture; mix well. Spread in pan; immediately sprinkle with holiday nonpareils. Cool about 30 minutes or until set. Break into bite-size pieces.
- In large serving bowl, mix both cereal mixtures and candies.
Tips
Take care when microwaving white vanilla baking chips so you don’t overheat them. Heat just until chips start to melt, and stir until smooth.
By changing the color and type of sprinkles, you easily can serve this mix for different holidays or occasions.

- 3 cups Rice Chex Cereal™
- 1 container (10.3 oz) mixed nuts (about 2 cups)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
- 1 cup bite-size wheat crackers (from 8-oz box)
Directions
- Line large rimmed cookie sheet with waxed paper. In large microwavable bowl, add cereals and mixed nuts.
- In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High 20 to 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in garlic salt, onion powder, thyme and rosemary; pour onto cereal and nut mixture. Stir mixture thoroughly to evenly coat.
- Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 6 minutes, stirring after every minute, until well coated and slightly toasted. Spread on cookie sheet to cool, about 15 minutes.
- Transfer to large serving bowl; stir in crackers.
