Easter is just around the corner, which means it’s almost time to celebrate with food, festivities, and fun! For many families, Easter is also a great opportunity to get everyone involved with themed arts and crafts. Below, we have compiled a list of five easy DIY Easter crafts to try that your kids will absolutely love!
Easter Egg Decorating
Egg decorating is always a classic Easter activity! When it comes to decorating, you can be as simple or creative as you want. Buy a dozen eggs, hard boil them, set out the dye and other decorating materials, and get to decorating! You and your kids will have so much fun designing—and eating—your colorful Easter eggs!
Be sure to pick up some supplies the next time you’re at your local Stater Bros. Markets, or plan out your activities and order ahead!

Easter Baskets
Easter Baskets are a necessity for all things Easter related. If the Easter Bunny still visits, decorating your Easter baskets is a must do. If your kids are a little older and don’t collect eggs anymore, you can gift them their own special basket with Easter themed snacks and goodies!
Check out what we included in our own Easter Baskets on our Instagram.

Peeps Twinkie Cars
These are a perfect group activity to do on Easter and also double as a fun treat. Enjoy! Watch how we made these on our Instagram!
- Start by cutting out the drivers seat for a peep bunny in a twinkie. Careful not to cut all the way through.
If your making this with young children, a butter knife will work for this part too. - Make little indents for the sprinkle headlights. Steal a little filling to make the sprinkles stick in place.
- For the wheels, we’ll use mini oreo cookies. They work out perfectly.
- Now add your bunny driver. Give them their steering wheel using a mini pretzel.

Paper Plate Bunnies
Grab some Simply Done Paper Plates and get to work decorating the cutest Paper Plate Bunnies for a unique, yet simple Easter Craft. Use one plate as the bunny’s head, and cut additional plates to give the bunny his signature ears. Decorate with whatever items you have around the house and you’ll have a selection of cute bunnies for your holiday festivities.
Easter Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Your kids will probably have a lot of extra candy lying around as treasures from their Easter egg hunt. Take advantage of all of the leftover chocolate and marshmallows, and repurpose them by making delectable dipped strawberries! Simply melt the chocolate and marshmallows in the microwave, dip the strawberries in one or both ingredients, and let them cool.
